Bowl season of the 2023 college football campaign continues on Thursday with a 4-game slate. It includes the Pop-Tarts Bowl between the NC State Wolfpack and Kansas State Wildcats. Both programs are coming off solid regular seasons that have them ranked in the top 25. NC State (9-3) is #19; Kansas State (8-4) comes in at #25. Here is my Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which will be televised starting at 5:45 pm ET on ESPN. Also be sure to check out all of our college Football  predictions . Kansas State -2.5 (-105) Avery Johnson Over 171.5 passing yards (-114) Delbert Mimms to score a touchdown (+168) Parlay odds: +910 Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson throwing for his fair share of yards would obviously work well with a Wildcats cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the

Mikel Arteta breaks down how Arsenal can beat Liverpool

Image
Mikel Arteta says Arsenal simply have to play better than Liverpool if they're to end their 12-year winless streak at Anfield. The Gunners head into the game top of the Premier League table, a point ahead of Liverpool, and will hold their position at the summit should they earn all three points on Merseyside. But recent history in not on the side of Arteta and Arsenal, who have found it increasingly difficult to pick up positive results at Anfield. Last season saw Liverpool fight back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw - Roberto Firmino's 87th minute equaliser one of many daggers that eventually downed Arsenal's Premier League title challenge. Probed in his latest press conference about how Arsenal can earn a first win at Liverpool since 2011, Arteta stated: "You have to play better than them. You will silence the crowd if you are dominant and better than them, just like in any other ground. There is no difference. "We have done it at Old Trafford, we have done it a

Man Utd's 2024 January transfer window wishlist

Image
The 2023/24 season has been one of major anguish for Manchester United, both on the pitch and off it. The Red Devils have underwhelmed in Erik ten Hag's second season in charge, sitting well outside the top four while also exiting all European competition and the Carabao Cup. The FA Cup is their final chance of a trophy, but they will have to improve a lot for success in that tournament to materialise. However, news of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS' investment has perked fans up approaching the end of 2023. January will mark their first transfer window as part of Man Utd and it could well be a fascinating few weeks in the market. Here are the areas Man Utd need to strengthen and the players they have been interested in. Why Raphael Varane missed Man Utd's Premier League clash with West Ham

Image
Manchester United's long list of defensive absentees was added to this Saturday, with centre-back Raphael Varane the latest to miss out for the Red Devils. The Frenchman has been on the fringes of the first team this season but injuries to Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez saw him make an increasingly rare start against Liverpool last weekend. The former Real Madrid man performed well, marshalling Man Utd's backline to a clean sheet at Anfield. It was expected, therefore, that Varane would retain his place when Erik ten Hag's side Travel led to West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday, but that wasn't the case. Varane missed out on the squad entirely but, fortunately for Man Utd, it's illness and not injury that kept him out of action. Ten Hag confirmed prior to kick-off against the Hammers on Saturday lunchtime that the 30-year-old was absent due to sickness. Image
It's the battle for Florida as the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic square off at the newly-named Kia Center on Wednesday, December 20. The Magic are favored in the NBA odds to defeat the Heat, something Magic fans are not too accustomed to seeing in this matchup. Surprisingly, we are roughly 25 games into the NBA season, and this is the first game between the Magic and Heat. With four games scheduled against each other, you'd think we would have already seen this matchup once this season. An even bigger surprise might be that the Magic are the Heat's biggest competition in winning the Southeast division this season as Orlando currently leads Miami by two games in the race for first place. With Jimmy Butler out with an injury, can the Heat find a way to pull off a road upset against the Magic, who have been strong at home this season with an 11-2 record? Find out my favorite NBA picks and predictions for tonight's matchup featuring the Heat vs. Magic. Heat

Young Tyrannosaur Feasted On 2 Baby Dinosaurs Before dуіпɡ, 75-Million-Year-Old Fossil Reveals

Image
In a ѕtагtɩіпɡ revelation, a recently ᴜпeагtһed 75-million-year-old fossil has provided unprecedented insights into the dietary habits of a young Tyrannosaur, painting a vivid picture of a prehistoric ргedаtoг’s last moments. The fossil, discovered in a remote excavation site, tells a tale of carnivorous ргoweѕѕ and survival in the ancient landscapes. The young Tyrannosaur’s final feast is a ѕіɡпіfісапt find in paleontological circles. The fossilized remains indicate that, shortly before meeting its demise, the juvenile Tyrannosaur had indulged in a meal consisting of not one, but two baby dinosaurs. This discovery сһаɩɩeпɡeѕ previous assumptions about the dietary habits of young Tyrannosaurs and adds a new layer of complexity to our understanding of the dynamics within the ecosystems of the Late Cretaceous period. The fossilized tableau showcases the feгoсіtу of the ancient food chain, һіɡһɩіɡһtіпɡ the һагѕһ realities of survival in a world domіпаted by сoɩoѕѕаɩ reptiles. The
